Never gone on the east coast of KC but it looks nice although an orange beach compared to white sands beach on west side.
Most def give it a go there as looks a great resort n quiet with nice facilities. Great vdo!!
Just to clarify: there are NO private beaches in Thailand. There are however beaches that are inaccessible by land because resorts have blocked egress via land. You can however swim, boat, or even walk along the beach (ie Chaweng in Samui that only has one small road for local access in the middle of the beach but you can walk along the whole beach). There is the odd resort that will put a rope around the beach in front of them and attempt to make it private but you can just ignore them and swim there.

You should get the ice cream in the bread Brian, it's amazing! The green by the way is pandan leaf (Bai Toey). It is used to flavour or give aroma to a lot of cakes and bread 👍👍

There are several different kinds of palm trees. Some are coconut palms but there are also date palms, where dates (the fruit) come from. Not sure how many different kinds there are, but all coconut trees are palm trees but not all palm trees are coconut trees. Hope that helps.
