Almost anybody could see that such a so-called ship cant be moved on the often wild unstill sea in that region (if i have read this correct), because the ship would have almost certainly drowned soon after starting to move then the ship could have stranded like the Queen Elizabeth in 1972, also visible in a James Bond movie (There is some suspicion that the fires were set deliberately, as several blazes broke out simultaneously throughout the ship).
But scrapping the jumbo were it was could have been an un-nice view whilst no remaining person related to recent Hong Kong would have done this since the jumbo was an identification object. So the chinese kinda had no other choice. If they added some unusual cargo to this forced occasion would be a different topic.

I remembered dining on that boat with my parents when I was small kid in the 70s. It looked even better at night with the lights. How sad it's going away well at least I get to save this video as memory!

That was NO ACCIDENTAL, sinking!!! An older ship, probably needing alot of restoration, sailing to an undisclosed, destination. Quite coincidentally, timing it with a storm, amidst a group of islands (limiting the view), near some of the deepest parts of the ocean (where nothing will be salvaged)!!
