There's another one in Chiang Mai. Could be their first restaurant. Same concept with a huge lake. Nicer at night with their lights. Was just right in December with 16C temps.

I am very impressed with how you're videos have improved so much from the early Indonesian days. Have you ever considered making a video documentary? For example doing a story about several of the local Karen people and how their lives are being impacted by the events in Myanmar — or perhaps making a simple doc about the life situation of one of the Mae Sot area farmers or shop keepers? I realize there would be a lot of logistics such as finding a good & cheap (or free) translator, etc. But I think you could make an excellent & interesting video! Just a thought…

those restaurant really live up to it's name… the landscape really bring up the magical forest vibes. and the food… wow.. nice delicious food presentation..what more could you ask for. But I really hope you can describe more of its taste and price, but well…I think its not proper to ignore you mystery friend in front of the table.🤭 I think the "forbidden route with the gate is sti under construction…that is why no access to guests..yet… overall… amazing place..👏👏👏
Glad you made it to Khaofang. The curry dish looked great. I believe that building in the first segment is where the owner lives.
Nature lovers will certainly like this restaurant with its forest setting and sculptured gardens. It makes sense to dine here, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, whereby you can really get in touch with nature and destress yourself while you get sustenance from their extensive and tantalising food options.

G'day mate, i have inlaws living in Mae Sot and i'm very happy you finally made it to that beautiful spot. I have been there many times and we even took my parents a couple of times. There used to be different types of birds swimming in the lake, i forget what type they were. Great place and i hope you enjoyed yourself, you deserve it mate. I have eaten there several times and always found it very nice. Question. Why didn't you take some pictures of their toilets??? Reason I asked this is because the restaurant has some of the best unusual Toilets to be found anywhere in the world. And well worth a look see. Next time you go take some time and snaps of same.
N/B you can sit anywhere you like inside or out. Inside also has some fab water features. That this time you didn't show.
