Avoid the humidity? Its still open air. Is it much les humid 10 meters above the street?
My friend you are best, honest, no hype, smooth, super cool, ect ect
😀Familiar territory. Nicely done.
About 5 years ago I ended up in a club around sukumvit soi 11 area. It was downstairs… maybe a basement. You had to buy a bottle to gain entry…does anyone know that place (such a poor description, sorry) and/or if it's still open? Cheers
Thanks for the update excellent .wasn’t slightly spicy restaurant sitting on where darling darling
Massage parlour used to be? Favourite place to b in the 1985s . Love it if you can feature Rang Mahal . Thanks. Again Pat cheers
Another insightful video, Pat many memories just seeing some of the business logos overhead.
😎👍🏻
I grew up round these neighborhoods from 1999 to 2021 I’m away for a 1 year now hopefully coming back next month November 2022 🤗i miss bkk so much thanks Bangkok pat for posting my beautiful Neighborhood’s 🙏🏾🤗🥰✌🏾🎩
I took the train from Bangkok to Pattaya and it passed along that stretch of railway .It was day time .The train was very slow and i could see into peoples homes along side the track .
Thanks Pat Returning in Nov, Saved Me from doing Hours of Homework. Cheers.
Many thanks for this! Your signposting to the Railway Community, Benjakitti & Lumpini Parks were especially helpful, during my recent trip to Sukhumvit!

Thank you Patt this was very informative
Is the guy in 13:20 trying to commit suicide?
Thank you pat, Love the channel. I miss Thailand. Spent a month there in 2016 mostly traveling north into chaing mai and Mae hong son loop etc etc. Made massive use of the train and stopped in many areas while traveling north… was a blast.. motorbiked through the loop in Mae hong son beautiful ride. Keep playing to my nostalgia I love it.
Grwqt vlog Pat. 10/10
My favorit bar in soi 4 was Hilarry 1..fuckin insane great place to play Pool and watching time goes by buddy..
‘Clean Fresh Healthy and Cheaper.’ Best ever elevator pitch.
Loved the video especially highlighting Suda on there. When our team comes up from Singapore for the GAS football tournament that is a must visit. Looking forward to a quick holiday in September and another visit
I cannot find the „green mile“ last week. Where did it start?
❤️
Great video. I am coming over in August, how much time do I need to get to the airport via taxi from Sofitel hotel? Say my flight is 9 pm, when Gould I leave the hotel? Thanks a million.
big sign "NO SEX TOURISTS" – then you have to explain to your 6 yr old what that's all about! applaud their stand definitely, but so in your face is not a good look – imo.
great job Pat. Pat seems like a genuinely nice person with a gentle yet witty delivery. I am in Bangkok now and have been coming for 35+ years. I must say though Pat and most commenters here have a way of perhaps embellishing a bit too much 😁 I mean you could take one Indian restaurant or one pizza place such as Little Spicy and Pala Pizzeria and say it’s the best Indian food or best pizza you’ve ever had when in reality they’re just ok and nothing that extraordinary. I say this with full humility but as someone who’s visited 151 countries and seen and experienced more than the average. Btw, best pizza ? Pizza Cresci with branches in Nice and Cannes, France. Best Indian food, besides Sheraton Mauria in New Delhi, it’s Bukhara restaurant in Cape Town, South Africa 😉
Good vid ,totally agree about Suda, great food, although I haven't been there for a while. The downside was the service was very poor ,but if you knew the owner ,service was ok.
It's so good to see all those places immortalised in your video!
(After all, they've been a part of my life.)
Thank you very much Khun Pat. 🙏🙏
Good video I live in issan and stop over in bkk twice a year on way to pattaya couple of days is enough though terminal 21 is a favourite one for the Mrs to top up her handbag collection and to eat there centre point in t21good place to stay and the westin
Great video I feel like I'm watching a proper travel show on TV 👏👏
Another great, informative video Pat. So glad to see Bully's has reopen. I love Bangkok but generally find that after a week to 10 days the terrible air quality starts to get on my chest so I move out to somewhere more rural.
Another great video Pat! I’m slowly getting caught up on them all. I’m apparently one of those odd ones that doesn’t mind basing myself out of the bigger cities. I love Bangkok’s energy. When I need something a bit mellower, I just hop on a plane south to the beaches and islands for a few weeks.
I never moan about anything in Thailand. I'm just so glad to be there that nothing pisses me off. Too busy smiling.
Wow great video. I finally have my passport on the way & the first place I want to go to is Thailand! I wasted so much time in the military & never got to travel. Well, now it's finally time! I've been dreaming about visiting the land of smiles for YEARS. I'm going to reference your videos when I go hopefully in October. My plan is to visit for maybe a month, explore the land, meet friendly locals, & LIVE LIFE. 🙂
Super Pat. 👍
I've stayed in the Sukhumvit area a few times. Didn't know about those parks and other areas. I have to visit on my next trip. Thanks for showing us around.
Another interesting view of Bangkok…… i liked the sign you were standing next to in Terminal 21, they seem to have 'borrowed' the London Transport roundal…….
Hi Pat great and informative channel…!!!
Out of curiosity are there many foreigners in Thailand working without work permit or improper visa …??..
Last time I stayed in Krung Thep I booked at the Grand Hyatt and it was an awesome stay.
Id pay good money to learn the bbk train network. I'm currently in public transport Melbourne 555 !!!
You make Bangkok seem very interesting. My wife and I usually never spend more than a couple of days there before heading off to Isaan land . Never been to explore sukumvit rd in any detail looks like a lot to see thanks.
Interesting video come Thailand a lot but learn a few bits along the way
Was sitting at Suda last week many times. Too bad I not saw you Pat…
When in BKK, Sofitel is always my go to hotel. Great breakfast, bone crunching Bose Sound system in the base suite and easy to get around. Or frasers suites at Soi 11. Washing machine/dryer and kitchenette in the studio rooms and full kitchen in the 1 bedroom apt. Bit of a walk to get to the main road but value for money, and cheaper than the sofitel. Both are "guest" friendly as well. 🤣
My wife and I are coming back to Bangkok in November for the first time since 2018. It will be a relatively short stop but we really appreciate this video tour. Actually, all of your videos have not only helped us get excited about our return but helped get us through the pandemic with an entertaining, intelligent and endlessly interesting window to Bangkok and Thailand. Thank you…Cheers, sir!!
