560 bahts the pork knuckle. But 499 bahts all-you-can-eat buffet of meat including knuckle but also grilled chicken, spare ribs, german sausages, pork steaks, chicken fillet, bread and salad bar.
Nothing to do with crispy knuckle. This is a boiled leg and deep fried. Therfore waiting time. Presentation poor – condiments LOL. Expensive poor restaurant. Be a shame…..
Too bad that this place has been permanently closed.
Very interesting. Half an hour eating! Bet the salad bar made you feel at home, I know how much you guys like one. A partly Austrian friend of mine loves this dish – I'll tell him it's safe for him to visit Bangkok. In fact I'm just sending him the link now.

I like that Northeastern Thai traditional music you are playing in the beginning of your video. I am a member of the Thai Cultural and Fine Arts Institute. Of the traditional Thai classical music forms, the music from Isaan is at the top of my list. Chicago has a nice size German population. There are usually lots of German Fairs in the Fall for Oktober Fest. Also we have the Kris kindel market in December for about 3 weeks . The majority of the vendors are from Germany. In my experience, I have found that regional food is usually not done well outside of the region of origin unless there is a large population from that region living in the new area. When I want Polish food, I go to the Polish neighborhood. The same for Indian, Puerto Rican, Middle Eastern, etc… For example, the "Chicago Style Pizza" in South Korea was definitely not true to form. As most South Koreans have not been to Chicago, they didn't know it was a poor copy of the real thing.
Talk about a man on a mission. Power walking from the BTS and then down the road to the restaurant. I was expecting you to pop into the 7 Eleven on the way and get a microwaved German meal. Thankfully that didn't happen. lol Then you power ate your way through that knuckle. You must have been hungry! Food looked good. Wonder how the price compares to Germany? Your accent is either German or Scandinavian to my tine ear.
I went to an all you can German sausage restaurant in Chiang Mai years ago. Food didn't look as good as yours. Nice video.
Hi Allen, for me as a local from Munich Schweinshaxe mit Bratkartoffeln (here are Klöße like in the video of Mark Wiens https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKieSenmIMs are much more common as with potatoes) are 560 Baht (14 EUR) very expensive… Here are the prices are between 10 and 12 EUR for that dish… Anyway another great video of you…. Thank you very much!!!
Your german pronounciation is quite good. "Deutsches Eck" sounds almost native, ok, with "gemütlichkeit" you are caught as non-native speaker 😉
another great review, MAN you do get around BKK alot. I'd like you to pls try a restaurant called "DET 5 Restaurant and BAR" on Sukhumwit Sio 8 (Its quite deep down the soi in the left). They are quite popular with expats, have reasonable prices and the Beer (local )is also very reasonably priced. I been there a few months ago with friends mainly to drink, but I believe their Burger is something to write home about
