Ooooh…aaaahhhh, this is luscious. Although like you, I prefer a more understated elegance a la Aman or Four Seasons, The Siam makes up with serenity what it importunes with kitschy collectibles. And as always, I compliment your content-maker virtuosity. I'm a sucker for good architectural/horticultural set pieces, and you exploit them so artfully. They punctuate your videos like gently unfolding discoveries. The Siam is especially rich in them; the courtyard, the atrium, the garden beyond the Vinyl Room, the pool, the river decks, garden vistas. In my travel daydreams I know I'll be arriving at The Siam by boat, at least for a while, until another of your videos captures my imagination. Thanks!

I have had the pleasure of staying at this establishment. You are made to feel as if it is your home not a hotel. I will never forget my stay ever. It was a special moment in a garden with finches just landing on me actually thinking I was all alone. Then I got up and a staff member got on his knees and asked to hold my hands in his. What a moment for the two of us…we never saw each other again. I’ve stayed many times. Very Special magical holiday destination.

I’m Thai and I quaranty you 99.9% Thai considered that lizard as a bad luck haha. They used to the dig graves along the riverside in the old time. The Thais call it เหี้ย(heer) which is as rude as the word “shit” in English.

I have recently been watching a lot of your videos while i have breakfast (it is the best and its super relaxing), so i have noticed that you almost always for breakfast order poacched eggs hahaha
with the monitor lizard near the pool, this place gives me the creeps!! especially, if you have children, and they are playing close to the river. Sorry! I won't be staying here. no way!

In my personal opinion, by the looks of it Mandarin Oriental in bangkok beats this hotel. Nice vid 🙂
