Can you believe that it took until the late 2000’s for Sonic to make it to NJ? I think I only ate there once before I moved out of the country,
the food is good but if they stop selling that ice its over lol the ice makes those drinks phenomenal

After I got out of the Navy, Gino’s was the first job I got while going to school. I worked at the store in Philadelphia located on City Line Avenue. I remember when it later changed to a Roy Rogers’ Restaurant.
Sonic the hedgehog was name after the restaurant
I first went to Sonic with my roommate when I was in college in Ruston. We went once a week usually on a Saturday night since I worked late on Fridays. We were in heaven when we went to sonic on Saturday night.
The people running the Sonics today are warped. You can't get just a hamburger at Sonic. You have to order a cheeseburger and ask them to hold the cheese. I miss the good old days at Sonic when you could order a number two hamburger and not have to pay for highly processed cheese food they are using now, even if you don't get it on your burger.
Computers are down at the Lorena, Tejas sonic drive-in from about 4:30 p.m. c.d.t. on last I heard anyway…
I started working as a car hop at a Sonic in Tennessee when I was in the 9th grade in 1974. I moved from bumper jumper to the Swamp ( the deep friars and hot dog station) then finally to the grill. I worked there for three years and had a blast the entire time.
Chili cheese dog and tater tots. Good times!!!
I went to sonic yesterday, I don't know what the food was like way back when but, I got a double cheeseburger and some chicken nuggets…and about a 1/2 hour after I ate…my stomach just felt like crap! Like i wanted to puke but couldn't. They must have started buying cheaper ingredients and raised the prices… but it was gross…I don't plan on going there again..
I only eat their ice cream blizzards…the food look artificial to me
I've eaten at Sonics once and didn't think the food was very good. I did like the ice in the drink.
I love Sonic and really wish they had them here in Munich, where I now live!
We had an A&W in my hometown and it closed down in the mid 70's and became a produce stand. (The one and only Pinball machine was left behind)
Never been, but menu sounds appealing; BUT, $1,500 as first-prize for the skate-off is a bit sketchy, no?
It's sad to see a Sonic location become a used car lot (I know of two, one right near me and one near my mother's
I have a friend of 6 years who grew into management at a Sonic.
I really miss the old sonic! Their burgers, especially the #2, was the best! They were bigger-wider than any other burger, and the batter fried onion rings were sooo tasty. Too bad they changed such a simple, tasty menu. Happy Eating!
Restaurant's and other businesses are better while a mom and pop's. When these people sell off to a corporation. These companies are no longer good.
The background temp was annoying.
It would have been better if you used music from which era you were talking about.
