Hi Mr. Heath, you guys always post up interesting things. If I remember correctly, the "Welcome hotel" on Soi Welcome always hosted Chinese tourist groups and the buses that accommodate them? It looks like a beautiful place (I've never been inside) but, during any "high season" I would expect that they would go back to the "Pre-COVID" format and continue to receive (mostly) Chinese "tour group" travelers?!?
I stayed there in the year 2000, beautiful, clean Hotel …..( it was a special offer …2 weeks ..Flight / transfer… included).( Hotel Welcome Jomtien )
Very old English look about it with the big pillars. Hope it does ok, Decent location and i'm sure its going to be a quiet location'
I think pattaya moves more and more to chinese and india tourists !!!

Stayed here before.Glad to see it back open,just like the rest of The land of smiles… by the way that blonde guy coming out of the bar in jomtien doesn't look German in, I thought I seen him with his own bar up the street..

We used to live a couple streets over from this place. This hotel used to cater a lot to the large Chinese tour groups. There would be row after row of the large tour buses parked there. Glad to see it's opening back up! It's looking great!
