The amount sodium in Sonic’s food, quite literally, should come with a warning if it doesn’t already. It’s HORRIBLE for you. He probably felt like garbage for days after this.
I grew up with sonic in small town Louisiana… I feel like small town sonics are way better than sonics in big towns

Breakfast:
My sonic has a sausage toaster and a sausage croissant but not a brioche sandwich and we don't use regular hamburger buns so that's neat to see that. I guess you could sub it in but I've never had someone do that
The thing that spices up the other burritos the most is that Baja cheese sauce imo, as well as the tots. Gives it a nice crunch.
My god I haven't seen French toast sticks since October 😫 you got lucky when you did this
Snacks and sides:
I will always love the chili cheese tots, they're my favorite. Throw some ranch on top for a light kick, maybe some bacon for added crunch, that's a really good combo.
We do use a slice of American cheese on top of the cheese fries and tots, as well as if you have a hot dog with only cheese, but you can absolutely ask for shredded cheese. I like it better than the sliced cheese.
I'm gonna cry. It's Ched'R'Peppers. Not Jalapeño poppers.

BBLT? Wow I've never heard of that. I've been here for 1.5 years.
Not much else to say. But they do all now come with sauces, not sure if they did at that sonic 2 years ago.
Chicken:
Our popcorn chicken unfortunately is more crumby and crunchy than soft and it's not really good anymore 😔
The honey bbq is my favorite sauce to dip in the chicken.

My sonic calls the chicken snacker a chicken slinger. I've never heard it be called snacker.

The 6 inch dog is 100% pure beef, while the footlong is a mix of beef, pork, and chicken. Sorry!
Ice cream:
All ice cream is supposed to get a dome lid 😩 nooooer
We use a vanilla base for all of our shakes so they probably didn't add enough caramel. The caramel shake can taste super good if there's enough in it.
We do use real banana! And it gets messy inside the store sometimes 😂
And that's it!
Though I was looking forward to seeing you try the chicken wraps, it has a good light ranch that compliments the heavy chicken flavor. Maybe you'll do this again someday, that'd be fun.

Some of the combos and experiments, my colleagues and I would think of, while working at Sonic were pretty insane. Now here me out, get a set of the chicken strips and a side of the chocolate fudge. Dip the chicken strips in the fudge. It sounds insane. But it works!

I can personally say that sonic does put different cheese on their cheese fries then their chili cheese, fries or tots vice versa I worked a Sonic for almost 6 months, and I know that place inside and out
our onions rings are made fresh and in house and yes the cheeses are different and yes the burgers are made on griddles.😭

almost a year after this video came out my sister, her fiance and i rescued 3 bengal kits (2 female, 1 male, both females are also torties). on the way home, after booking a vet appointment to get them checked out, we went to sonic because it was a 6 hour drive to get them so we were starving. i'd never had sonic before, so i went with the safe option of the buffalo popcorn chicken, and it was really good!
i remember eating the food i had gotten with my cat, who's name was going to be ninochka, and suddenly, as i was eating, i had an epiphany that her name should be bear.
so now a year later, bear and i are chillin watching this video and reminiscing on the buffalo popcorn chicken…remembering when she almost knocked it out of my hands (thankfully my reflexes are enhanced when eating buffalo chicken so i caught it).
I'm with you keith. A hot dog MUST be ALL beef. Anything else is awful and needs to be cut up into tiny pieces and drowned in sweet baby rays to get rid of it's flavor.

Someone who works at Sonic here! They do use shredded cheese for the chili cheese fries and tots and burritos. But use craft singles on regular cheese fries and tots. Ask for shredded cheese next time you go! And don’t forget to tip your carhop😁

Random fact: I used to work at a restaurant supply store, and our local Sonics would come buy all-beef corndogs from us (that we got from a wholesale distributor, I think DOT) when they ran out on the days they sold the $0.50 corndogs.
I love Sonic, I will always endorse them, one day I rode up there on my bike because I was craving my favorite slush and corn dog bites and I waited for about half an hour, they were packed, I got there during the dinner rush, I understood, I wasn't worried, I had the evening free, I got there before I started to feel hungry on purpose. I asked an employee about the hiring process and the skates and stuff, he was super nice, was able to answer all my questions, then asked because he was the guy running orders when I first arived if I had gotten my food yet, and I told him no but I wasn't concerned, I could see they were super busy and only had one guy running the food out, I could only imagine how short staffed thwy must have been. Not 30 seconds after that he brought me my food and it was already payed for, and I had not payed yet. Love Sonic's so much
